Mckenzie Mullan - Dancer and Choreographer 

Mckenzie Mullan was born in South Jersey where she began her dance training at Adams Dance Academy. At 14, Mckenzie left the competition sphere to attend The Rock School for Dance Education. She spent two years driving back and forth to the Rock in Philadelphia before moving to New York City at 16 to attend the Gelsey Kirkland Academy of Classical Ballet. While there, she finished her high school education through the George Washington University Online High School. Mckenzie then began her college career at New York University, studying dance through the Tisch School of the Arts and journalism through the Arther L. Carter Journalism Institute. During her time at Tisch, Mckenzie has had the opportunity to perform works by Paul Taylor, Ron K. Brown, Jeremy Nelson, and her fellow dancers, as well as study abroad at NYU Berlin. She can also be found in Jordan Matter’s book Dancers After Dark. 

Kyreed Jordan - Dancer

Kyreed Jordan is a senior BFA student at Tisch School of the Arts. He is originally from Pittsburgh, PA where he attended Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School. While at LPPACS, Kyreed majored in dance and began his education in performing arts. He took part in many musicals, dances, and concerts. In his senior year he choreographed his first piece which was showcased in the Senior Choreography Project Concert. While in Tisch, Kyreed has been in many shows and choreographed his second piece. He wishes to continue his research in movement and artistry while focusing on being a mover and performer. This year, Kyreed performed also in a HELPELESSPEOPLE by MADBOOTS DANCE and Promethean Fire by Paul Taylor at Tisch Dance. In addition to dancing, Kyreed is an active model, fitness enthusiast and theater lover. After graduating, Kyreed will obtain his personal training certification, social media marketing certification, and continue his dance career hoping to perform on Broadway and beyond. He wishes to eventually open his own company and create work of his own. 

 

Miriam Rose - Dancer

Miriam Rose is from Westchester, New York, where she began dancing at Westchester Ballet Center under the direction of Rose-Marie Menes. She has furthered her training through summer programs at Pittsburgh Ballet Theater, American Ballet Theater, and Alonzo King Lines Ballet, as well as participated in Sidra Bell’s Winter Module. As a student at NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Miriam has had the opportunity to perform in works by MADBOOTS, Pamela Pietro and Jeremy Nelson, as well as study abroad in Berlin. Miriam will graduate with a BFA in Dance in May 2018.

Dervla Carey-Jones - Dancer

Dervla Carey-Jones is from San Francisco, California, and will graduate with a BFA in Dance from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts in May 2018. She began her training with a scholarship from the Dance In Schools Foundation to attend the San Francisco Ballet School. Later on, Dervla joined ODC Dance School's teen company, allowing her to take part in the 2014 Ai Wei Wei @Large exhibition on Alcatraz and to intern alongside the ODC Dance Company. During her second year at NYU, Dervla joined Cherylyn Lavagnino’s contemporary ballet company. In the summer of 2017, while studying abroad in NYU’s dance program in Berlin, Dervla worked with artists including Dominique Duszynski, Meg Stuart, and Johannes Wieland. Dervla has also performed in Richard Chen-See’s restaging of Paul Taylor’s Promethean Fire, in an original work by Pam Pietro, works by Leyland Simmons, and in various student works.

Dervla is excited to continue working with the various choreographers and dancers that the New York City community has to offer. 

Alexander Boyce - Character and Magic

Alexander Boyce's appearance accompanied by the Philadelphia Orchestra was hailed as “Enchanting” by The Philadelphia Inquirer. Boyce's magical work was recently put to use as the Magic Consultant at Lincoln Center on How to Transcend a Happy Marriage by Sarah Ruhl starring Marisa Tomei, and the Netflix feature, The Week Of, starring Adam Sandler and Chris Rock. A proud graduate of NYU in Drama, Boyce spent his time in college touring Shakespeare to jails and schools, studying film, and discovering collaborators. His performances have been seen at many NYC institutions including The Friar’s Club, The Player’s Club, The Cutting Room, and Off-Broadway at Monday Night Magic. He regularly travels to Las Vegas to apprentice with masters.

Jack Brinsmaid - Vocalist

Jack is entering his 4th year in NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, studying drama. He spent 2 years studying acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, and spent his 3rd year at the New Studio on Broadway studying musical theatre. He plans to spend his 4th year at NSB. Favorite NYU credits include Tuck Everlasting (Jesse Tuck), Urinetown (Bobby Strong), and Violet. Jack would like to thank his family and friends for their support, especially his roommate and friend Dylan Tashjian for this opportunity.

Erin McMillen - Vocalist

Erin McMillen is a current junior at NYU Tisch Drama. She completed her primary training at the New Studio on Broadway, and currently studies Playwriting and Directing at Playwrights Horizons Theatre School. NYU: Leader of the Pack (Annie Golden), Mattress Man and The Drunken Sailor (Sheila). Regional: Les Miserables (Cosette), Shrek! The Musical (Teen Fiona/The Ugly Duckling) at The Wheelock Family Theatre in Boston, and 1776 (Martha Jefferson) for which she earned an IRNE Nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical. 

TJ Santiago - Contortion

Albert 'TJ' Santiago is a Bronx, New York native who's love for performing started in the fourth grade. He pursued musical theater all throughout middle school before getting accepted to Professional Performing Arts in the heart of Manhattan. Shortly after starting high school, he joined the cast of the Broadway show "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" for their first national tour. Upon graduating, TJ fell in love with the world of circus arts. He was accepted into the Intensive Professional Program at Circus Warehouse in Long Island City, where he studied aerial artistry, hand balancing, and Mongolian contortion. He has toured with Big Top Broadway and studied at the famous X-Roses Contortion Centre in Mongolia. TJ looks forward to bending his way through life: whether it's on stage, on camera, or under the big top!

 

Elizabeth Munn - Rope

Elizabeth Munn is an aerialist exploring new ways of storytelling through multi-disciplinary collaborations.  After a career as a classical singer, she tried circus on a whim and was immediately hooked.  As an aerialist she combines the discipline of her classical music training with her background in dance and physical theater.

Recent projects include singing, dancing and all things circus in 2 Ring Circus' production of GODSPELL (Aerialist) at Arkansas Repertory Theater.  She also launched  a new show, We Want It Darker with co-creators Cassandra Rosebeetle and Jason Mejias.   Elizabeth has performed frequently with 2 Ring Circus and  Lisa's Bright Ideas, and is a regular on the cabaret scene in New York. elizabethmunn.nyc

Richard Hankes & Ashlee Montague - Hand to Hand

Richard Hankes and Ashlee Montague are classical ballet dancers turned world record holding circus performers, and Cirque du Soleil alumni.  They specialize in acrobatic ballet, adagio, static and dynamic hand-to-hand, aerial, and bottle walking acts.   

Richard and Ashlee met in 2007 while studying ballet at the Rock School for Dance Education in Philadelphia.  Married July of 2017, the couple has performed across the globe together for television, film, commercials, print, and events.  They are coached by Jerome Le Baut (Ecole National de Cirque, Cirque du Soleil), Sebastien Soldevila (Director of Les 7 Doigts de la Main), and Mimi Bonnavaud (Gold Medalist Cirque de Demain) in addition to their extensive dance training.  

Richard and Ashlee have enjoyed performing for Cirque du Soleil's Broadway show Paramour, performing internationally for 45 Degrees, appearing as "The Crystal Bruts" on Amazon Prime's Mozart in the Jungle, debuting a new large-scale P.T. Barnum based musical, and playing leading roles in Eden - a new immersive dinner production created for Celebrity Cruise Line's newest ship, the Celebrity Edge.  

Richard and Ashlee reside in New York City and travel worldwide.

Rachel Greenblatt - Cerceau

Rachel Greenblatt is a Philadelphia born creator and aerialist. She trained at the Philadelphia School of Circus Arts under the coaching of Kendra Greaves, Niff Nicholls, Jackie Zalewski and Adam Woolley.  

Specializing in cereau and double trapeze, Rachel has worked extensively The Give and Take Jugglers and Premiere Nightclub at the Borgata in Atlantic City (NJ) as an ambient aerialist. She is graduating from New York University this Spring with a B.A. in Performance Studies and minors in Producing from the Tisch School of the Arts and a minor in Business, Entertainment, Media, and Technology from the Stern School of Business.  Anecdoche will be her first New York based production.
